That's what we did for our mint! :)Mum in the Makinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14978846571220740500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072099236937422307.post-26027042796609828012012-07-01T01:38:33.019+08:002012-07-01T01:38:33.019+08:00Wow! I've made the query this morning.
I'll check out some other florist or nurseries. I'm looking for mint seeds and chives seeds.
Pinterest is great! Thanks for the recommendations!Liliumnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072099236937422307.post-22012986899886813212012-07-01T00:08:03.219+08:002012-07-01T00:08:03.219+08:00Lilium: Having home-grown herbs is great! :) The ...Lilium: Having home-grown herbs is great! :) The Ikea kit came with everything: 3 cups with the name of the herbs on them, the soil pods (it was fun adding water and seeing them expand) and the seed packets. But this was in Germany so I'm not sure if the SG Ikea has it. If not I'm sure you could get seed packs from Far East Flora?

You could try Pinterest for learning activities/crafts on the seasons... seed planting is a great start, and yes, there are loads of good books out there! :)Mum in the Makinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14978846571220740500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072099236937422307.post-55244971263710231172012-06-29T11:21:55.757+08:002012-06-29T11:21:55.757+08:00I am thinking of planting herbs too! Is there any instruction on the IKEA packets on how to plant them?

As for learning seasons, probably I'm not creative enough. I can only think of planting seeds and watching them grow. In Singapore there's no distinct seasons and I fins that most of the information we received are from books. If you can bring little one to tour the 4 seasons, it will be a great experience for them. Otherwise, the next best thing I can think of is getting some videos featuring seasons.Liliumnoreply@blogger.com
