{Thankful Today} 2 Dec: Clean

We've reached home from Denmark yesterday evening, and have been frantically trying to clean up the home as the hubby's mum, dad and sister (plus baby) are visiting us for a week or so. It's been quite the challenge since of all things, I've just caught a cold, amidst the sniffles we've been trying to borrow bedlinen and mattresses and chairs to fit everyone. I've no idea how we'll be able to cook meals enough to feed everyone with the limited number and size of our pots, but I guess we'll work something out.

Whatever the case, I'm most thankful for everything that helps in getting things (and people) clean. From hot showers to travel tubs...

To vacuum cleaners that suck 3 weeks worth of dust up in a jiffy.

And washing machines and dishwashers that do the cleaning for you. (We don't have a dryer, so it was really nice having a dryer in the apartment we stayed in Copenhagen, and coming home with our luggage filled with mostly clean clothes.)
