Ooops, its Thursday already, but I guess its never too late to give thanks! So here goes our list of things we are thankful to God for:
1. God's love and care. And how we can bring every little thing to Him in prayer!
2. Friends. Who laugh and cry with you. Who lend you listening ears when you need them. :)
3. Little learning, that always brings a smile to my face. The boy has been picking up actions for nursery rhymes real quick, like:
Twinkle twinkle little star...
Itsy bitsy spider (he can't seem to co-ordinate his two hands
for the spider part, so he uses one finger to poke his other hand!)
4. Sweet little gestures, like how the little boy wakes up in the morning and passes me my specs to wear... or how he tries to gives the hubby his specs and phone when the hubby is sleeping, and gets really distressed when the hubby continues sleeping!
5. Fruits: Full of fibre, jam-packed with vitamins. We suddenly were blessed to have loads of these in our fridge, and are happily chomping away on their sweetness!
Mangoes and jackfruit from churchmates.
The mangoes were the size and weight of cannonballs,
and the jackfruit was ohh so juicy... Thanks guys!
Long-stemmed strawberries that were on offer, which the hubby bought.
Super duper sweet, and I've never seen such HUGE ones before!
Yummy blueberries and raspberries. The little boy loves the blueberries!
Pink dragonfruit from my mum. I've always loved how funny they look!
And I won't go on about the grapes, oranges and apples sitting in our fridge! What are you thankful for this week?
WOW! I´ve never heard about dragonfruit before. They really have a funny look! I would love to try it.
ReplyDeleteLara had grapes and strawberries for dessert tonight. I´m thankful for her good apetite and for our good health.
I like the pictures you took of all the fruits.
Hi! May I ask how did you lose your pregnancy weight? I'm real worried I won't be able to do so :(
ReplyDeleteKira: :) Dragonfruit's pretty yummy, they have white flesh and little black seeds (like those in kiwifruit). Junior J loves them! I'll post a picture of the inside when we do get to eating them... And thanks! So glad little Lara's eating well!
