Thankful Tuesdays: Morning by morning

Its rather ironic how things usually seem to take a turn for the worse, before I'm due to write the weekly "Thankful Tuesdays" post... Some days we meet with challenges and struggle to find something to give thanks for.  Nevertheless, I've learnt that there's always something to be grateful for, no matter what!  So since its a busy day, here's my little list that I'm thankful for:

:: God's never-ending, never-changing love, that scoops me up and keeps me hanging in there when I feel like I can't go on.  And His promises, that are written in the Bible, and splashed across the sky.

:: Each new day, that heralds new things to learn and new steps to take, as we learn to keep trusting in God.

:: My 3 boys who keep my heart and life so full.  From the biggest, who quietly washes up all the dinner dishes since he knows that all that dealing with detergent has been giving me rashes, to the smallest, who has been showing that I have a little foodie in my tummy (the yummier the food I eat, the more kicks I get after a meal...)...

... and of course, the boy in the middle, who has been causing much headache these days with his pseudo-constipation (long story, that) and tantrums, but also has been giving us much joy.

:: The restfulness of a simple day spent at home, sniffles aside.  Just time spent reading, while sitting in a make-believe blanket boat, while dangling feet brush waterlilies that float by:

:: Toddler talk and amazing flights of fancy, which never fails to make me smile...

"This is Oouie the tapir and he is eating pancakes and noodles!"

:: Afternoon naps, that help to restore sanity...

:: Sunshine on days that you put your clothes in the washing machine...

:: Oh, and of course, coffee.  That single precious cup of java I allow myself each day!

What are you thankful for this week?
