Weekend wanderings: Time with you

This was snapped by Junior J during lunch. :)

It was one of those quiet weekends where we opted to just stay home most of the time, save for church on Sunday (where we got to make new friends!). After the service, we headed for lunch. Since the place was pretty near home, I opted to walk back with baby J when we were done, while hubby drove back with Junior J (who was grumpy and didn't want to walk).

It was nice spending time alone with baby J, letting him wobble along while holding my hand for short bits of the journey. We looked at trees, and strolled along the canal. He pointed at ivy, at lamp posts, at traffic lights. We stopped here and there to look at things that caught our eye: grass turfs in the shape of hearts, flowing water, spinning pinwheels.

They say that your heart grows bigger when you have your next child, and it always has room for all your children. However, your time becomes divided, and sometimes I wish I could give both boys some undivided attention. So that walk was good, and I hope there will be more of these to come.
