Its a busy day today. We just brought Junior J to see his PD and we have to get his photo taken for his application to be a Malaysian citizen, so I won't blog for long. Anyway, there's been no changes on the weaning front, save for us introducing new foods (like lady's fingers and stuff off our plates). The boy is still spitting, still not eating much, and as a result, is still as skinny as ever!
Before I sign off... here's what the boy's been up to to entertain himself during his hour-long meals:
and giving them bits of his own food to eat
Feeding his papa those toy animals (wild game, anyone?)
Playing peekaboo with whoever's feeding him,
by grabbing the washcloth we use to wipe his messes, and covering his face!
Have a great day! :)
These pictures are about everyday life, I love them, I have a few shots like these of Larinka, they are so funny!!!
ReplyDeleteI made homemade flan the other day and she loved it! A lot of eggs, milk, sugar and vainilla, it is very easy! I found the recipe on the web.
Have a great day, too!
Kira, I googled "flan" and just learnt that its the creme caramel that I love to eat! I found this recipe: http://mexicanfood.about.com/od/sweetsanddesserts/r/easyflan.htm
ReplyDeleteWas it the one you used? I think I'll try it one day... Yum yum!
Well, I´m glad you know what I´m talking about! Yes, it is the same thing, you can use condensed milk if you want, we have that recipe here too, it´s another way to do it.
ReplyDeleteHere in Argentina we eat flan with Dulce de Leche. Every home here has Dulce de Leche in the fridge, next to the big steaks, of course!
Hope Junior J likes it!
Looking the the pixs reminded me of my 2 boys at that age :) Russell was a difficult, fussy eater and Jonah was so easy....Funny thing is as they grow older, Russell becomes a food adventurer while Jonah is the fussy eater! LOL...Beautiful pixs once again :)
ReplyDeleteKira: Oh ok... I'll try the recipe some time next time when the boy is better... :) I love creme caramel myself! And Dulce de Leche sounds yummy...
ReplyDeleteEileen: Whew... I hope the boy becomes an easy eater later on like your boy! And thanks! :)
