Today, on this hot, hot day, we give thanks for water that:
:: Gives new growth:
:: Can be collected... for washing and getting things clean... from clothes, to dishes, to walls and toilets...
:: Cools you down on impossibly hot days...
:: Provides endless hours of play and delight...
:: Washes us clean from any stains...
:: Reminds us of living water, and a fountain filled with blood:
There is a fountain filled with blood
Drawn from Emmanuel's veins;
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
Lose all their guilty stains.

Sharon: Thanks! :) Nope just the regular 50 mm... but at a low f number (f1.8 I think)! I've just discovered that water photographs really nicely if shot against a dark background... :)
ReplyDeleteEvergreen: Thanks! And that is one big thing to be really thankful about!
