Thankful Tuesdays: Under the sea, busy as a bee

Ever since the hubby touched down on Sunday, we've been caught in a whirlwind of activity.  Dinner with family for Father's Day, visits to playgrounds... and also a visit to the Underwater World yesterday, plus a nice cable-car ride (Junior J's first):

(There's a cable car cum Underwater World promotion that is ongoing til the 26th of June, do check it out if you're thinking of a visit to Sentosa for the last week of the school hols...)

And now that we're back to the usual swing of things, with laundry to do and dishes to wash, we are thankful to God for:

:: His Word, that tells us about Him, and reminds us of His promises.

:: The great diversity of under-sea animals that we can marvel at, from the prettier ones like seadragons:

... to the scarier, nasty ones like moray eels...

:: Journey mercies for the hubby for the past week when he was away.

:: A rather busy and fun-filled week for the little boy, who had 3 playdates (with 3 different friends!) last week, which also included a trip to the art museum:

Grainy photo again!  Dragging the SLR out with a toddler on public transport
while sporting a big belly is a big no-no...

:: Family and friends who helped to look out for us last week:  We were blessed to have 3 DG members pop by on different days bearing food for me, and one also brought Junior J to the playground so I could finish some housework!  Was so very thankful for all their help... :)

:: Sunshine on laundry days...

:: A full laundry bin of clothes to wash, which means I have my loved ones around me...

:: The laughter of a child, who think unicorn fishes look funny ("ninnycorn fish is funny!"), and is easily amused by the simple things in life.

What are you thankful for this week?

  1. wah nice :) what a difference a good camera (as compared to the one with my phone) makes when taking pics of the fish! haha.

  2. Ame: Heyhey! We got your postcard! Little boy was elated. :) Haha I guess for low-light situations like UWW, the SLR does help, but it sure its heavy to bring along, unlike just having a phone in your handbag! ;)
