Monday Made: Displaying or storing artwork

Kids and artwork seem to go hand-in-hand, and the number of pieces we have of Junior J's scribbles have been increasing by the day.  So just recently I decided that I would take some of his "masterpieces" and make them into a little book for keeping.  Bo Bunny was having a challenge that involved using school supplies, so I intially started off wanting to use paperclips as embellishments, and also had this photo in mind:

I added chipboard stickers and buttons/bling to the clips.
And I love how he sticks out his tongue whenever he concentrates really hard!

Then I decided that I'll make the "art book" cover from the cover torn from an old exercise book I had lying around (of course I inked it to make it look old):

I punched out an area using a paper punch, glued on a transparency and stamped the letters...
And added chipboard stickers and rub-ons, as well as the punched
out section of the cover, with his name on it!

Inside of the "art book".  I cut his artwork into these smaller pieces,
punched holes and tied everything together with twine.

And added a colour pencil that was half-ruined by the little boy's enthusiastic scribbling:

I think I went nuts about the school supplies idea:
I used an old airmail envelope (and inked it) to hold the pencil,
since the envelope colours went so well with the papers!

And of course, there must be journalling, so here it is:

And finally, the full picture:

Layout: Sketches in Thyme
Supplies: White cardstock, Patterned paper
(Bo Bunny: Block Party- Chill, Picnic, Stripe, Good Times)
Stickers: Bo Bunny (Block Party: Cardstock, chipboard and layered stickers)
Buttons/bling: Bo Bunny (Block Party)
Ink: Staz On (Olive Green), Versafine (Crimson Red, Vintage Sepia), AC (Black)
School supplies: Airmail envelope, Exercise book cover, Paper clips, Colour pencil, Transparency
I liked how the little art book turned out, and might make more of these next time for his other art pieces.  Other than this, we sometimes display his works by hanging them from the line hanging between the two trees in his room.

Here are some other ways that artwork can be displayed:

Framing them all up as one huge masterpiece:

Using clips attached to wooden trim, to hold all the pieces.  This also allows you to rotate the art pieces as they get created!

How do you store/display your childrens' artwork?
