So I used a photo taken in Yangmingshan recently... added loads of fussy-cut flowers (from Crate Paper's Portrait collection):
And threw in a Donna foam stamp and happy paint colours:
All the flowers remind me of the glorious spring blossoms over in Taiwan... Walking through those sakura trees in bloom was quite a "magical" experience. :) (can you spot the word "magic"? Its courtesy of "The Secret Garden" again. Heee.)
Patterned papers and old book pages were lightly painted with white and yellow paint... |
Actually I was torn between using yellow and blue flowers, or red and blue flowers. The hubby, opinionated as always about these matters, told me to go with red. What do you think? Red, or yellow?
Gotta go, hope you're having a great weekend thus far!
i like the blue, yay go with blue, go blue! haha

ReplyDeleteI must say red. Hope you are having a nice weekend, my friend!

ReplyDeleteI find it sweet that your hubby gives his opinions on your artwork! :)
Hooray hooray! Way to go with the being brave and working with paint! You did a good job! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! Seems like hubby was right, red and blue was the way to go...
ReplyDeleteSharon: :) It was scary, pushing down the stamp after applying the paint, I nearly couldn't breathe! haha...
