Monday Made: Holding CDs without using pockets

Hello again!  To make up for all the Monday Made posts I've missed, I'm posting double today! :)

I'd just recently finished editing the photos we had taken for a friend's daughter's birthday party, and I wanted to put the CD into a card before passing it to her.  I thought I'd try something different other than the usual CD envelope/pocket, and did this:

I basically punched out flower shapes using a paper punch, attached it using a brad, and slotted the petals through the round hole in the middle of the CD.  And just added a doily to pretty things up abit!

And here's how the cover looks:

With 3 boys in the family and me being the only female, it means I hardly ever get to use pink when I scrap.  So you can tell I went all out with pink this time round, from the butterflies to the pinky-poo puffy glitter lettering!  The leaves were cut out from an AC patterned paper (I used the plain side) and inked.

And finally, a full view of the card, cum CD holder:

Supplies: Cardstock (American Crafts Baby Kit)
Patterned paper (American Crafts Letterbox)
Lettering (AC Thickers: Glass Slipper), Brads (AC Glitter brads)
Flowers (Prima), Buttons (Unknown), Doillies (SKP)
Its so nice to scrap in pink once in a while! :)
